Organization of a Computer
Hi Techer, in this content we are going to talk about organizing of a computer, if you are wanting to become a programmer you must know how a computer works, and how it stores data and processes information.
The structure of modern computers as we know them are divided into six sections, which are called data input, data output, main memory unit, logic and arithmetic unit, central processing unit and secondary memory unit.
Data Input
Data entry is how the computer receives information from the outside world, that is, how information is entered into a computer, which can be through keyboards, mice, digital cameras, audio recorders, microphones, scanners, mouse, among other types. of devices.
Data Output
The data output is how the computer shows the information it has, we can highlight here the monitors that show the computer’s data, but we also have other devices such as the printer that is capable of printing data that is inside a computer .
Main Memory Unit
They are fast access memories that help the computer process information quickly, we can highlight two types of memory here, RAM memory and ROM memory.
Logic and Arithmetic Unit
This unit is in the computer’s processor, it is responsible for performing mathematical calculations such as adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying and can also perform the logical part in decision making, deciding whether a condition is true or false.
Central Processing Unit
The central processing unit is also known as the processor, it is responsible for managing everything your computer will do, using resources in the best possible way so that the computer does not run out of memory or cannot process information.
Secondary Memory Unit
The secondary memory unit is memory capable of storing information for longer, we can highlight the HD’s, SSD’s, Memory Cards, Pen-drives, CD’s, DVD’s, which can store data even if the computer is turned off.

And did you already know these components of a computer? Leave it here in the comments and I’m curious to know.
